General Volunteer Terms
Voluntary Participation. This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity. Volunteers are not employees and are not entitled to wages, benefits, or compensation of any kind. Either party may end the arrangement at any time for any reason with no obligation.
Minimum Age. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. Volunteers under 18 require a signed parent or guardian consent on Page 1 before beginning any activity.
Future Pay Goal. As Faith & Growth grows, our goal is to transition active volunteers into paid roles starting around $18/hour when revenue allows. This is a goal, not a promise or guarantee.
Conduct. Volunteers must maintain respectful, professional behavior at all times. Harassment, discrimination, or unsafe conduct is prohibited and may result in immediate removal.
No Background Check. Faith & Growth does not conduct background checks. Acceptance is based on this application and a brief conversation.
Schedule Flexibility. Volunteer hours are fully flexible and arranged around personal availability, school, and other commitments. There are no minimum hour requirements.
Confidentiality & Intellectual Property
Confidentiality — During & After. Volunteers agree to keep ALL company information strictly confidential including but not limited to: product designs, STL files, print settings, supplier information, pricing, business strategies, customer data, and internal processes. This obligation continues indefinitely after the volunteer's time with Faith & Growth ends.
Ownership of Work. Any and all designs, 3D models, STL files, written content, marketing materials, photos, videos, code, ideas, or other work created by a volunteer during their time with Faith & Growth are the sole and exclusive property of Faith & Growth. The volunteer waives any claim to ownership of such work.
No Unauthorized Use. Volunteers may not copy, share, reproduce, publish, sell, or use any Faith & Growth designs, files, methods, or materials for any purpose outside of their volunteer work without prior written permission.
Non-Compete & Anti-Knockoff Agreement
Important — Please read carefully before signing. Violation of these terms may result in legal action.
No Competing Products. During the volunteer period and for 24 months after the volunteer's last day with Faith & Growth, the volunteer agrees not to design, manufacture, sell, distribute, or assist any other person or business in creating products that are substantially similar to, directly inspired by, or compete with Faith & Growth's 3D-printed plant starter kits, gardening accessories, or any other product the volunteer was exposed to during their time here.
No Knockoffs. The volunteer specifically agrees never to reproduce, reverse-engineer, copy, or create imitations of any Faith & Growth product design — in whole or in part — for personal profit or for any third party, whether sold commercially or given away for free. This includes posting designs online (e.g. Thingiverse, Printables, Etsy) that are derived from or closely resemble Faith & Growth products.
Original Work Only. If the volunteer wishes to create their own plant-related or 3D-printed products after leaving, those products must be entirely original — developed independently using no designs, files, or knowledge gained exclusively through Faith & Growth. When in doubt, create something clearly different.
Non-Solicitation. Volunteers may not solicit or recruit Faith & Growth's customers, suppliers, or other volunteers for any competing venture for 12 months after their last day.

Safety Rules & Minor Volunteer Restrictions — Page 3 of 3
⚠ MINOR VOLUNTEER RESTRICTIONS — Applies to All Volunteers Under Age 18
Volunteers under the age of 18 are welcome and valued at Faith & Growth. However, for their safety, minors are strictly prohibited from the following at all times:
✗ No Product Assembly. Minors may NOT participate in the physical assembly of any Faith & Growth product. This includes snapping, gluing, pressing, or joining any components together in the production process. Assembly is an adult-only task.
✗ No 3D Printer Operation. Minors may NOT operate, load, unload, or adjust any 3D printer. This includes handling hot-end components, removing prints from the build plate, changing filament, or clearing jams or failed prints.
✗ No Sharp or Heat Tools. Minors may NOT use utility knives, deburring tools, heat guns, soldering irons, or any tool capable of causing burns or cuts.
✗ No Chemical Handling. Minors may NOT handle adhesives, resins, acetone, isopropyl alcohol, or any chemical solvents used in the production or finishing process.
✗ No Unsupervised Workspace Access. Minors must always have an adult (18+) present. A minor may never be left alone in the production workspace for any reason.
What minors CAN do: Computer-based design work, packaging already-completed products (no tools), marketing tasks, photography, social media content, and general organizational tasks — always with an adult present.
Workspace Safety Rules — All Volunteers
All volunteers must read and follow these rules before entering the workspace. Violations may result in immediate removal from the program.
Rule 1 — Training First. No volunteer may use any tool, machine, or equipment until they complete Faith & Growth's safety training and have it signed off by a company representative. Prior experience is not a substitute for on-site training.
Rule 2 — Wear Your PPE. Safety glasses, gloves, and other required protective equipment must be worn whenever directed. PPE is provided. Refusing to wear required PPE is grounds for removal from the workspace.
Rule 3 — No Horseplay. Running, roughhousing, distracting others operating equipment, or any behavior that could cause an accident is strictly prohibited at all times.
Rule 4 — Report Hazards Immediately. Any unsafe condition, damaged equipment, spill, or potential hazard must be reported to a supervisor right away. Do not attempt to fix equipment malfunctions yourself.
Rule 5 — No Food or Drink in Production Areas. Eating and drinking is not permitted in any area where printing, assembly, or chemical use occurs.
Rule 6 — Keep It Clean. Volunteers are responsible for keeping their work area tidy. Filament scraps, failed prints, packaging materials, and tools must be properly disposed of or stored after use.
Rule 7 — Know the Exits. Before starting work, volunteers must be briefed on the location of fire exits, fire extinguishers, and first aid kits. In an emergency, stop work immediately and follow the supervising adult's instructions.
Rule 8 — Respect the Equipment. Do not modify settings, run unauthorized files, or experiment with equipment without explicit permission. Volunteers who intentionally or recklessly damage equipment may be held responsible for repair or replacement costs.
Rule 9 — Phones During Breaks Only. Personal phone use is allowed during breaks only. Phones and earbuds are not permitted while operating any equipment.
Rule 10 — Right to Remove. Faith & Growth reserves the right to ask any volunteer to leave the premises immediately if their behavior creates a safety risk or hostile environment, with no further obligation.
